This knowledge base article shows how to use delegated access via the web portal. If you're using Outlook, it should add the mailbox(es) directly to Outlook, but this is an easier method for focusing directly on the end user inbox.

1. Start by going to portal.office.com (the Office365 web portal that a lot of these directions use).

4. Once it logs in, go to Apps...

6. Once it logs in to Outlook, click on your initials / your picture on the top right corner...

7. and then select Open another mailbox.

8. It will pop open a window with a space to type in which mailbox...

9. and when it gives you the person to select below, click on it. (Note that you will not be able to access people without the proper back-end permissions)

10. It will open a new tab where you'll be able to act as this other user to send emails and/or read anything from their inbox and email folders.
