How to use an alias to send emails

These directions will teach you how to add additional emails to send from!

1. Use Chrome to go to the Office365 portal at portal.office.com

3. and your computer password. Then click Sign in.

4. You can (but do not need to) select Yes and "Don't show this again" if you're on your own office device. Otherwise, leave it unchecked and select "No".

5. Once in the portal, on the left, you'll see the Outlook icon. Click on it.

6. Once in Outlook, on the top right, click the Gear icon.

7. This will open up the settings for Outlook. Select the Compose and reply section.

8. Scroll down, and you'll see a few things you'll need to edit. If it's not already checked, make sure "Always show From" is checked ON, and a little further down you'll see all of your alias addresses. Click ON whatever email(s) you wish to send from.

9. Make sure to hit Save after doing that!

10. After saving, close the settings, and open a New mail.

11. You should see the From box as a dropdown. Click on the little down arrow to expand the dropdown.

12. You should see all of the aliases you enabled earlier. Select the email you wish to send from, and you're all set!
